Last night Dave Petitti and Torrco were presented with the 2014 Dora’s Hope Yellow Ribbon Award.  This award is “given to an individual, group or business that exemplifies selfless behavior to help another.”  Dora’s Hope recognized the commitment of going above and beyond in the support of Rich Sills getting back to work after a serious stroke.  Rich Sills presented this wonderful award to Dave Petitti.

Torrco Design Center, in conjunction with Tile America, celebrated the grand opening of their Brookfield showroom on September 3, 2014. This isn’t the first time that Torrco and Tile America have partnered together to create impressive kitchen & bath displays that enthralled customers with their elegance and gleam. Over 75 customers showed up to this exquisite event that was carefully planned by Dawn Corbo, cbd, Director of Business Development, Design Center Sales, with the assistance of Michele Wright, Marketing Leader, Tile America employees, and a variety of Torrco’s vendors. This 3 hour event allowed attendees to view the assorted kitchen & bath displays while cheerfully networking and gaining valuable information about the myriad products available in this showroom. The addition of a raffle and a delicious meal added spice to an otherwise fun-filled commemoration of Torrco’s 6^th grand opening of a design center; the 3^rd with Tile America. Torrco would like to thank all of their customers, employees, vendors, and Tile America for a successful opening and looks forward to their continued support for future endeavors.

The 2014 Torrco Trade Show, hosted at the lovely Trumbull Marriott, was a spectacular hit that drew in various vendors and customers from across the state. This event could not have been made possible if it weren’t for the expertise and dedication of marketing leader and event coordinator, Michele Wright. Her vast history of coordinating events allowed Torrco to host a professionally informative and entertaining show that kept the audience engaged from beginning to end.

Not only did Honeywell and the Torrco Marketing team teach classrooms on their respective products but the over 50 vendors that attended the show brought with them a plethora of knowledge and products that captivated the consumer’s minds. This mesh of individuals from all corners of the plumbing industry is what truly made the 2014 Torrco Trade Show a success. Without the devotion of our vendors and customers this trade show would not have been such a triumphant hit.
