Torrco Design Center a leading supplier of plumbing, piping, hvac, kitchen and bath products is seeking to fill the position of Design Center Consultant. At Torrco Design Center our top priority is helping our customers bring the vision of their kitchen or bath project to life.

The individual we are looking for must have excellent communication and interaction skills and be able to connect meaningfully with a variety of personalities. You must be proactive in finding solutions even though you might not have the answer right then and there. If you want to be challenged by your job and surrounded by passionate, dedicated, creative people, you are looking in the right place.
What We Need From You:
- Have excellent communication and interaction skills.
- Be proactive in finding solutions. They do not always have to know the answer, but will take the initiative to find it.
- Be able to qualify customer’s needs. Do they need a small cash and carry item, replacement parts or technical assistance or a Design Consultant to assist in specifying and selecting product?
- Must be persistent and tenacious in problem solving. Won’t take no for an answer. Be able to negotiate with vendors to get back-ordered items shipped out quickly and replacement parts sent at no charge quickly for customers.
- Must be patient and able to empathize with the customer’s requests and frustrations.
- Be welcoming when a customer enters the showroom.
- Have a sense of urgency when solving a customer’s problem.
